Transparent
car hire rates with no hidden costs:
- Comprehensive insurance without excess:
- driver & passengers
- third party liability
- collision damage waiver
- theft waiver for vehicle unless theft occurs due to negligence by the client
(personal objects inside the car are not covered)
- 24 hour road assistance (AXA)
- Unlimited mileage in the Costa del Sol area
- Free personal service at Malaga airport (24h) or at your holiday home in
the Costa del Sol area (no bus transfer, no waiting time, no out-of-office-hours nor airport
surcharges)
- Fee second driver (additional driver 12.00 Euros per car rental)
- 16% VAT included
Not included in the rates:
- Use of wrong fuel; fines; towing; costs for stolen, lost or damaged car keys; damage to the wheels (incl. tires and
rims);
damage to glasses; damage to locks in an attempt to steal personal effects inside the car
hire vehicle
- Damage caused to the car and accessories due to negligent/improper use and/or as a result of driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs
Additional insurance upon request to cover damage to wheels and glasses 3.00 Euros/day (minimum 9,00 Euros and maximum 42.00 Euros).
Fuel
Unless you specify otherwise, your rental vehicle will be delivered to
you with half a tank of fuel, which will be charged to you at the start of
your car rental. Please return the car as empty as possible. For returning clients we can track the
fuel they left in the car for their next rental.
Accessories
Upon request we can provide you with a roof rack for free.
A standard child seat is: 2.00 Euro / day. We ask the customer to install or verify the installation of the child
seat in the car as the company does not take responsibility for an incorrect
installation of it.
Payment
No prepayments are required. The sum of the rental will only be charged to
you at the beginning of the rental contract. Please
contact us for a possible Early Payment discount. We accept payment
in Euros or with credit card
(MasterCard, Visa). Credit card guarantee is required for rental.
Changes, refunds or cancellation
Changes to the reservation are free of charge until the start of the rental
contract. Unused rental days will be refunded or credited to the client's
account, in the case of unforeseen departures due to emergencies. Autos
Costasol, S.A. reserves the right to charge a fee up to the full amount of the
rental for reservations cancelled less than 24 hours before the start of the
rental.
Authorized
drivers, age restrictions, license requirements and identification
Only drivers mentioned in the rental contract are covered by the
insurance. Minimum age for rental is 23 years. Maximum 70
years. Please contact us for our special rental conditions for
Young and Senior drivers. All drivers must hold a valid driver's license for a
minimum of one year and present it at the start of the rental. New clients will
also have to show a valid European Union ID or passport.
Driving restrictions
It is not allowed to take the car out of the community of Andalusia or use
it for purposes that are banned by law.
Car Cleaning / Negligence
Autos Costasol, S.A. cleans and checks its cars before each rental and we would
like to kindly ask our clients to try and maintain the cars moderately
proper. For vehicles returned excessively dirty (especially with heavy
food stains or animal hair) we reserve the right to charge a cleaning supplement
of up to 24.00 Euros. For damages caused by negligence (e.g. damage to
vehicle`s underside for driving on roads in bad conditions or dirt roads, wrong use of the clutch, using the incorrect type of
fuel, theft facilitated by leaving car keys in the car, battery damage after
leaving lights on, cigarette burns) we reserve the right to charge the cost
incurred up to its full amount.
Accidents
In case of an accident with another vehicle, the client should insist on a
police report where possible. Else it is necessary to personally obtain
the required information for an insurance claim (registration number, car
model, colour, driver's name, address, telephone, insurance policy number
and company, witnesses, etc.). Do not sign an amicable accident form that
could invalidate the insurance claims against the other party or that you do not
understand in every detail. Don't hesitate to call
us for assistance and inform us as soon as you can, latest within 24 hours.
